Privacy Statement

The Journal of Sustainability (JoS) collects only what is needed to run the editorial and peer-review workflow.

For reviewers: we store your name and email address to (1) invite and assign you to manuscripts in your areas of expertise, and (2) communicate about the current review and any future invitations. Reviewer details are not public and are used only for JoS’s editorial purposes.

For authors: we store your name and email address (and, if provided, affiliation and ORCID) to manage the submission, peer review, decisions, production, and publication of your manuscript, and to keep you informed about its status. When an article is accepted and published, author names, affiliations, and ORCIDs appear on the public record of the article.

We do not sell personal data. We retain data only as long as needed for the editorial record and legal/ethical obligations.

You can request removal of your name and email address from our system at any time by emailing [email protected].

Note: For published articles, removal is generally not possible, but you may request corrections to published metadata (e.g., name, affiliation, ORCID) or other appropriate post-publication amendments in line with JoS editorial policy and indexing requirements.
