The Journal of Sustainability is an interdisciplinary journal that aims to provide practical advice to businesses, policymakers, and civil society on accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable economy.

This journal is a collective effort by leading scholars and practitioners around the world who are excited about furthering the discourse on the concept of sustainability. All our articles are open-access and oriented towards practical applications. We compensate our editors and reviewers, and we strive to provide peer review that is both fast and constructive.

    Special Issues

    Special Issues gather articles on a focused theme, offering a platform for sharing new research. All submissions are curated by Guest Editors and peer-reviewed under the journal’s standard process.

    Each proposal is approved by the Editorial Board to ensure it aligns with the journal’s scope. Accepted articles are published within the volume of the calendar year in which the Special Issue opens. They are featured on a dedicated Special Issue page, as well as in the “Recent Articles” feed and annual archive
