All submissions to the Journal of Sustainability (JoS) must meet the following requirements:
1. Compliance with JoS Policies
Submissions must adhere to the journal’s core editorial policies, including (but not limited to):

Conflicts of Interest: Disclosure of any financial, personal, or professional affiliations that could be perceived as influencing the manuscript.

Use of AI: Responsible and transparent use of AI tools, with appropriate disclosure where applicable.
2. Originality and Exclusivity
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal.
3. Article Processing Charge (APC) Awareness
- Authors confirm they are aware of the Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts and that they or their institute will be responsible for covering the APC if the manuscript is accepted.
- They understand that any waiver or discount must be requested before or during submission and will not be considered after acceptance. (APC details and waiver policy)
4. Content Accuracy and Presentation

All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

All tables and figures are properly numbered and labelled.

Permission has been obtained for all photos, datasets, and other supplementary materials included in the submission.
5. Author Responsibility

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and have given informed consent for submission.

Any Competing Interests are clearly disclosed in the manuscript and/or during the submission process.
6. Alignment with Author Guidelines
- The manuscript complies with all requirements outlined in the official Author Guide, including formatting, structure, and ethical considerations.
